When someone calls your number

You choose what happens for each number.

  • A forwarded call costs inbound minutes plus outbound minutes for the forwarded leg.
  • The first month of a number is held on your balance when you order it, and drawn once the number works.

Know when something happens

Questions about telephony

Can I get a Norwegian mobile number?

No. The numbers we rent out are landline numbers in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Kristiansand and Tromsø. Any phone can call them.

How is the price of a call worked out?

Per started minute from the moment the call connects. A call of 1 minute 35 seconds costs two minutes, NOK 1.20 for an outbound call. Recording and transcripts come on top, per started minute.

How long can a call last?

At most 60 minutes. Before we dial, we hold enough of your balance for the whole call. If your balance is lower, the call is shorter, and we hang up when the covered minutes are used.

Which voices can read the text?

A Norwegian female voice, a Norwegian male voice and an English female voice. The speech is made by ElevenLabs, and the price is per thousand characters.

Can I record calls?

Yes. You turn on recording for one call, or for every inbound call to a number. You are responsible for telling the people you talk to that the call is recorded.

Can I call numbers abroad?

No. We call Norwegian eight-digit numbers only, and never premium-rate special numbers such as 820 and 829 numbers.

Can I call emergency numbers through telkit?

No. 110, 112 and 113 cannot be called through telkit, so telkit cannot replace an ordinary phone for emergency calls.

Who provides the numbers and the calls?

The numbers and the connection to the phone network come from DIDWW. The audio of the calls runs through LiveKit. See every subprocessor
